Raspberry pi 4 specs + what's new?


Recently, raspberry pi 4 has been released.
According to the raspberry pi foundation, they told that they will never release raspberry 4 in 2019. But, they lied me.
Anyhow, I bought raspberry 3 a month ago, because I believed what they said.

I will let you specs of this. This information from elements 14 store page.

The raspberry pi which recently released is really impressive more than what they released before. (Except raspberry pi 1)
This is initial version of raspberry pi which supports USB 3.0,
It supports double (micro) HDMI. Moreover, it supports 4K HD (However, I am not sure if graphic card is adequate for 4K)
It now supports Bluetooth 5.0 (raspberry 3 supports up to Bluetooth 4.2)
You can select ram memory as you want.
You can choose 1,2 or 4GB
1GB = $35
2GB = $45
4GB = $55
furthermore, MIPI slots have been 2 from 1 (The slot which can be connected with pi camera)
As number of functions increases, usage of electricity also significantly increased.
Now, it is use USB-C. It's not just a USB-C. 5.1V and 3A power is required to use raspberry pi which the normal charges cannot reachable. Also, you can provide electricity though GPIO port. Congrats!

Well, they added a really good fuction. Have you heard about PoE(Power over Ethernet)? It is a method which provide electricity via Ethernet cable. ( It has a big merit. number of cables which directly connected to the device will be decreased.) It is available now on raspberry pi! I sincerely appreciate about it. It is shockable that the price not much differ from it was in the past.
